It often takes you by surprise, the feeling that you wish you were fitter. Perhaps you’ve run downstairs to answer the door and find yourself unexpectedly breathless. Maybe that go-to “going out” dress you’ve cherished for years doesn’t fit you in the way it used to. 

Do you want to look and feel better? Your goal might be to feel fitter with more energy, to improve your strength or core, or to bring some structure and routine to your workouts. Achieving any of these aims will also give you an enriched sense of wellbeing and confidence.

For many of us, wanting to feel fitter coincides with a step change in life: children moving to secondary school or leaving home and not needing us in the ways they used to; having to care for older relatives; peri- or menopause, or a different career direction. 

The idea of going for a run or joining a gym class where everyone else seems to know each other already, isn’t always appealing! But one-on-one training is different: I work with my clients at their own pace.

Personal training in Naphill – tailored to your personal goals

I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to training – each session is tailored for you, to meet your personal goals. I’ll help you become a healthier, fitter, happier, stronger version of yourself.

Training with me doesn’t begin with exercise – the first thing we’ll do is talk. I want to get to know more about you, your aims and how you’ve trained in the past (don’t worry if you haven’t!). I offer every client a free, half-hour Zoom or WhatsApp call so we can get to know each other. You can find out more about what working with me would be like, and ask me any questions. 

I’m both a qualified personal trainer and Pilates teacher and have my own private, well-equipped fitness gym, so don’t worry about feeling self-conscious in a busy public environment. I’m also a Fitness Mindset Coach, which could be just what you need if you’ve had problems achieving fitness objectives in the past – I can work with you to overcome any psychological obstacles in your way. Personal training is only £210 for six, one-hour sessions.
